Editorial policy
Our articles explain how we make AI UGC video ads, using work we have actually done. This page explains how they are researched, checked and corrected.
Experience first
We only write about processes we have run ourselves. Articles are based on real production work, and they show it: the data we pulled, the prompts we used, what failed, and what it cost.
Sources and data
- Every number comes from a source file: an Ad Library page, a data provider export, a credit receipt, a measurement or a transcript. We keep those files.
- Claims about rules and platform policies link to the official source, such as the FTC, Meta or TikTok, with the date we checked it.
- Third party estimates, such as app revenue from Sensor Tower, are labeled as estimates.
- Every article ends with a list of sources.
Use of AI
We make AI generated videos, and we use AI tools in our work. When an article or video was made with AI, we say so on the page, including which tools and what they did. Articles may be drafted with an AI writing assistant from our production notes. A person checks every claim, number and quote against the source files before publishing.
Independence
No one pays to be mentioned in our articles. When we name another company's ad or app, it is because it illustrates the point, and we link to where you can verify it.
Corrections and updates
If something is wrong, email [email protected]. We fix factual errors as soon as we confirm them and note the change in the article's update log. Rules and platform policies change often, so we recheck them when we update an article and show the new date.
Who is responsible
Every article has a named author with an author page. The author is responsible for its accuracy.
